I studied at Texas A&M University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and St. Edward’s University. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate (#94322).

Additionally, I am a Board-Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC), Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Educator, and Certified Revelation Wellness Instructor with specialized training in Restorative Movement. I am certified through the International Board of Professional and Pastoral Care (IBPPC) as a Board-Certified Christian Counselor (BCCC), and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

My 20+ years of professional experience in the field of mental health has included: inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment programs for adolescents, residential care for single moms and their children, community mental health centers and church-based counseling ministries. I have advanced training in the following specialties: Biblical counseling and spiritual direction, play-based counseling, expressive arts therapy, sand tray techniques, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), and multiple attachment-focused and trauma informed interventions. I work with individuals, couples, families, groups, and provide community education.

My guiding verse as a counselor is found in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

I have experienced the compassionate, Father-heart of God personally and find comfort in Him. My hope and prayer is to offer comfort through counseling to those in any trouble with the comfort I myself receive from Him.
